Finally got myself a LJ
Oct. 26th, 2007 11:27 amYay, I finally got my Livejournal all set up! Heh heh, and the hardest part of the whole process was attempting to come up with a decent name for it. Still not really happy with what I wound up with, but ah well, 'twill do for now. If anyone has any better ideas, do feel free to let me know!
So, now that I'm finally set up, I've been trying to think of what I should post for my first entry. A witty and comprehensive greeting, introduction, and description of myself? A brief statement of my purpose in starting a journal, and the likely nature and content of my posts? Just jump right in with what I'm thinking and what's been going on and assume no one who doesn't already know me is likely to see this anyways?
*sighs* Yes, I think too much. Finally, I just decided to post something, get rid of that whole paralysis-of-staring-at-a-blank-page thing, and if anyone wants to know more about me or what I'm going to be posting about, they can ask. Or I can say something later. Or whatever. As long as I just get started already. So that's what I did. Go me :)
And on the downside, I've got a cold. Bleck. Just what I needed right now. On the upside, however, if this was a really stupid idea, or if I've said something absolutely idiotic in this post, I can always blame it on that. :P
