My poor Strider-puppy has broken a tooth, way down by the roots, and now needs surgery. We also just found out he's got some kind of tick-borne disease, and needs antibiotics (and how that happens when he's on Frontline year-round...). I don't know yet how serious it is, but he needs to go back to the Vet on Thursday.

Also, the ground is white again. 'Cause it's snowing, again. I was hoping yesterday that the ice on our lake would be melted today. Apparently not.

And, despite managing to keep my head above water on my other work, I haven't managed any writing yet today. *sighs*

Wah.

End of whining. ;P

Oh, poor Strider! :( I hope everything ends up going all right...poor puppy. *sends him much virtual petting* :)

Yipe! Still snowing? It got up to 85 here today. *fans self* Though apparently, some of your cold is going to be heading this way next week, 'cause it's supposed to get a lot chillier.... :D

*huggles and sends Muse chocolate* :)

Yeah, my poor baby... *huggles puppy* I'm just sooo glad he loves going to the vet so much. This'd be a whole lot harder if he didn't think a trip to the vet makes for The. Most. Awesomest. Day. Evar. *bg*

Yep, still gettin' snow, apparently. Actually snowed off and on all weekend. Can't complain too much, though - we only got a few inches, as opposed to the people a bit west of us who got 1 1/2 to 2 feet. :P 'Least the ice on the lake actually broke up today. I was starting to wonder what the poor swans and loons were going to do with themselves. Supposed to warm up considerably this next week, though, so...

Hehe, thanks muchly. Methinks the muse is recovering. Even if I am still a pathetically slooooooow writer. ;P

Poor puppy.
The first time I read it, I read it too quickly--and I was going "Huh? The ranger broke a tooth?"

Then I realized my blunder. *sheepish grin*

LOL! Yep, our animals' names can get a bit confusing that way. (We've got Strider the dog, Elladan and Elrohir the twin cats, and Pippin the parakeet. *g* Used to have Celeborn and Galadriel, and Sauron the fish, and Frodo, Sam, and Merry the frogs, and Gollum the newt, but... eh, such creatures are sadly short-lived. ;) Methinks we've got to get something to name Legolas, but I don't know what yet...)

With this poor puppy's misfortunes, though... *shakes head* His luck bears a sad resemblance to a certain ranger's. I'm starting to think it's the name that's bad luck. ;P

o.o
A family of animals named after LOTR characters must be interesting!

Hmm...I'm sure you'll find something to name "Legolas." :P

Perhaps...*g*
