Gotta love it.

(Not my blood, by the way. Although I did suspect for a while that I was going to wind up with whiplash and a severely bruised chin and/or hand, after a few kicks from guys twice my size went awry. XP)

I'd always wanted to learn martial arts...parents wouldn't let me when I was younger, and now with a bum knee and a bum shoulder it's never going to happen. *wry grin* Looks awfully cool, though! I envy you.

It is so fun. I'm... kind of ridiculously badly suited to it (asthma, flat feet, other... odd, not-yet-diagnosed foot problems, bad wrists... not to mention so shy it took me about a month just to get the hang of yelling properly), but it was something I wanted to do so long, I'm so grateful to have the chance to take lessons now. Even if being so much smaller than the others can wind up with me flying across the room. XD
