Miscellaneous silly stuff.
Decided to try out that accent-identifier quiz that
cairistiona7 posted earlier. ^.^
The result -
- was not particularly surprising, considering that I've been told even by a Texan that he could tell where I was from by my accent. *g* Mmhmm, pretty clasically Minnesotan. Enough so that it has only very recently occurred to me that having snow 6-8 months out of the year might not actually be the common, usual way of things. Where others are starting to talk spring, we've still got over a foot of snow on the ground, and our second snowiest month still ahead.
I also realized that part of the reason that winter's seemed so much longer lately is that until the last few years we always spent a couple weeks in Arizona in the middle. Amazing what a difference that can make in one's general enjoyment of the season...
And, on an entirely unrelated note - a couple of LOTR-related graphs that I found very amusing lately.

And! Although figuring out the transition to Photoshop continues to be aggravating at times, I am now well on my way to being in love with the program. Today... Neffie showed me how to animate stuff. *joy*
Naturally, I had to experiment. Quite sloppily, granted, but still -

Ees fuuuun. And so easy! :D

What American accent do you have?

North Central. This is what everyone calls a "Minnesota accent." If you saw "Fargo" or "Drop Dead Gorgeous" you probably didn't think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Some Americans may mistake you for a Canadian.
If you are not a northern Minnesotan, you are probably one of these:
(a) A Yooper from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan; or
(b) A Canadian who has a mostly but not completely Canadian accent
Take this quiz now - it's easy!

Thanks! :D I was happy that it turned out like that, for such a quick job. Now I've gotta try something more complex.... *g*

Bwaha, I love GraphJam. I could easily waste a whole day on that site. XD
And eeee, the animated dragon is so, SO cute! Would you know...I had no idea PSE could animate. O.o Maybe...no, PSE 2.0 does have that feature. I feel...completely stupid now. I've always used GIMP for animations. THIS IS FANTASTIC. *dashes off to play*

The weather is crazy. Yes. Crazy awesome, sometimes. But more often... just crazy. Still, eh, what would life be without a bit of crazy? *g*
GraphJam can be so hilarious. I just love that way of measuring things that are... so not math. XD
*bouncy* I'm glad you like the leetle dragon! Oh, it is so fun to be able to animate stuff like this. I'm so happy Nef showed it to me! :D (And if you haven't seen it already, the whole "save for web/preview" feature is soooo nice and simple for trying out different speeds, etc. and seeing how it'll actually look. *happiness*)
