We have achieved tininess!
Sep. 21st, 2012 05:36 pmWhile on vacation, Neffie and I saw a couple necklaces that gave us ideas for things we wanted to try, one of them being a little journal-on-a-chain-type thing. Only we decided to make it smaller, should be a bit sturdier because of the way it's constructed, and, of course, we had to give it a little aged, steampunk touch. *g*
After finally gathering the materials we'd need, we had our first trial run on making them today, and it's looking promising!
\o/ Heheh, the process of figuring out how to do it all was pretty time-consuming, and we definitely need to get some proper leatherworking needles (I think my poor fingers have more holes in them than the leather does XD). So this one's a little rougher than I'd hope future versions would be, but still. Yay for teeny things! We've already got a couple more partially completed, in different colors, so here's hoping the final assembly on those goes a little more smoothly.
