imbecamielLOL, oh yes, I'm still very much excited and energized and walking around with a permanent goofy grin on my face. But come on, tell me...
So much cuteness in one place! And pictures just can't do her justice, even if we were snapping them every two seconds...
A tad small, maybe, but I have trouble with pictures in LJ. But isn't she just cuuuute? She just looks like the most perfect, tiny little doll... Yes, okay. Ahem. I'm done. For now.
In the not-quite-so-good news, Strider's not doing quite so well. Poor baby's got an ear infection, and just had to have unexpected surgery to remove a small tumor that suddenly appeared on his ear. The vet thinks it's benign, and apparently they're pretty common in younger dogs, though he's really at the outside edge for the usual age range, but we're having it tested to check... As usual, though, Strider was just lovely. They only had to give him a local anesthetic for the surgery, and they let me come back to watch and help keep him calm, which was really neat. Strider was wagging his tail, even on the operating table, and didn't mind the vet working on him at all, though he kinda wanted to see what she was doing. The only thing that really bothered him was the vacuum they had to run nearby to clear some of the smoke from the laser. Vacuums are scary. ;) But the minute they were done everything was forgiven and forgotten, he was off the table and wagging his tail madly, trying to lick everyone in the room. *huggles sweet puppy* So he's doing pretty good now, his ear looks like one of the cats took a bite out of the tip, but he's not traumatized. I'd definitely appreciate prayers, though, that this tumor turns out to be as harmless as they're hoping, and not a sign of something worse - Flat-coats are very prone to cancer, and his mother died when she was only three, two years younger than he is now.
Anyway, back to work for me! Hehe, apparently this mood's got me very creative, because I have been writing like crazy today. Well, a lot for me, at any rate. ;)

I should have lots of writing time tomorrow, though. Unless we go visit Lexie again, of course. *bg* But if we do that I'll probably wind up staying up all night afterward writing in a frenzy of euphoria-induced creativity. ;D
