*giggles* Oh, I love that certificate.... Don't know if I'd ever be brave enough to give one to anyone, but I could sure frame one and hang it over my bed. XD
Wheee, new SGA! I'm a tad upset, because it looks like I'll have to wait until August before I'm actually able to buy the new season. *sigh* My funds are low. Although, I suspect my mom might cave and buy it before I do. It's lovely when the whole family can be fannish together.... :D
We're going to see WALL-E on Monday, which looks So. Totally. Cute. Aww, and the poor little girl! It's always sweet though when a kid gets that involved in characters though. Yes, I bet she'll turn out to be quite a fan, one day. :D (LOL, I bawled through a lot of things when I was little, and my mom was constantly having to tell me the ends to things, so I could actually stick through teh misery until the end.... :D )
*giggles at your grandma's fannishness* (Oh, that's so funny, that she was equally as pleased as you were to have the director dead.... :D) Isn't it odd, when people you'd least expect to like something end up loving it? I had a similar reaction over Christmas upon discovering that my aunt--my mom's sister--loves the original series of Star Trek. And she's so much like my mom, who hates the original series...it kind of shocked me. I'm also still surprised that my mom liked LotR as much as she did, and, not to mention, how much she likes SGA, and particularly Rodney.... O.o I mean, she will bring it up to talk about, without us trying to initiate it! LOL. Yay for fannishness.
I'm so sorry to hear about your great-aunt.... :( I will definitely be praying.
(BTW...it doesn't look like I'll have a review on your story by tonight. :-/ I will get on it first thing on Monday!)
